3-C Seismometer K/MT 210
The seismometer K/MT 210 is a flat instrument as big as a palm completely made from titanium.
Its special shape and the bottom plate with grooved profile enable a good positioning on the sea floor and optimise the shear wave coupling.
The seismometer can be equipped with up to three geophones/sensors of diverse frequencies each one measuring different seismic bottom movements.
The pressure-proved material titanium allows the seismometer to be deployed up to 6000m water depth.
